What did you like and didn’t like with your springleap tshirt?

Please give us feedback, so that we can improve in the future.

Here are some suggested questions you can answer for us, but feel free to speak your mind:

1. what tshirt design/s are you commenting on? (name is on the back of the tshirt)
2. guys / girls and what size? (details in the inner neck)
3. did you get it in the post, or in a shop or as a present or other?
4. first impression of the tshirt?
5. did you get the badge and postcard, and what did you think?
6. what did you think of the front print? (good quality, not great)
7. what did you think of the name of the design and the designer at the back of the tshirt?
8. what did you think when you tried it on? (was it too small, too big, a perfect fit, needs changes?)
9. after you washed it, did it shrink? (a lot, a little, none at all)
10. anything else?
11. what would your rating out of 10 be?

We really appreciate your feedback and be honest - if there is something we’re doing wrong we want to hear about it so we can fix it up. And if we’re doing something right, it makes us feel that all the hard effort and work we’ve put into springleap over the last year has been worth it!

I received my shipments of t-shirts really quickly, and they are awesome! getting so many compliments and constantly sending people your way.

I just have one question:

SeeWorthy, one of the shirts I bought, has bleached/run/faded (?) along the collar, spreading to the shoulders. I have only worn the t-shirt twice, and can’t think of any reason for this to have happened. none of my other t-shirts, springleap or otherwise, have done this before, so I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this? It really is a pity as I won’t be able to wear it anymore and I really liked it.

Any help would be appreciated.

The sizes are a bit smaller that expected
Large = Medium
Xl = Large
etc..

4. Awesome. Both of them. Great print quality, striking colours. A really rewarding package to open.
5. Got one postcard and one badge. Neither of which were either of the two shirts I ordered (a bit dissapointing).

8. Perfect. This was made for me. “Look here everybody, how awesome is this shirt?”
9. It will be a while before I wash it… Don’t trust the machine!

Really wasn’t expecting the shirts so fast (small town - stuff always takes like 2 weeks to get here) - awesome! and I was nervous about the size (girls M) but it fits perfectly and has a pretty nice cut - i like that its just long enough ‘cause often girls t-shirt are just a tiny bit too short. (I haven’t washed it yet so i dunno if it’ll go funny - i’ll post something if they do though)
The print quality is fantastic.
I’m generally not a huge fan of branding/ stuff written on shirts (like the stuff on the back) but seeing as springleap is still new and unknown, i don’t mind it a bit (I’m real stoked to promote the site at the moment)- maybe you could make it a bit more subtle when you’re really really well known? on the other hand, printing the shirts title on the back puts a little pressure on the designers to have a witty title :)

all in all really happy! 9/10
(the extra 1 will happen when there are even more designs to choose from)

wow - some awesome comments. seems like u are loving the super fast service with our new courier company.

@HappyCamper - people have said that our XL’s and XXL’s are a little on the tight side, so on our next production (we make the tshirts ourselves) we’re going to make them bigger. but that will take a few months and we’ll make an announcement when they are launched

@muman - good point. we’re looking into seeing if we can up the quality of the already top notch quality to do some more anti shifting, shrinking etc. it’s always really difficult to get the colour of the screen problem resolved, as everyone uses different monitors.

@dsteyn - when we started producing tshirts, we went through a learning curve. (what we call generations). We’re now onto our 4th generation, and are currently designing the 5th generation tshirts. BUT we were short on a few colours, so had to top up with tshirts from another manufacturer. There are only about 4 or 5 designs using that other manufacturer’s tshirts, but they are slightly different sizing, and you probably got one of them, which is why you noticed a difference.

The theme competition encapsulates the same exciting process as the previous competition except for the tons of fabulous themes in store. It’s all about the series of dynamic inspirational concepts to spunk up the Springleap.com t-shirt competition, aiming to bring the community an edgy array of correlative themed designs.

For every theme competition a funky fresh WoRd-uP post will be written (like this one!) , creating a special brief to steer your design direction. The winning t-shirt design entries remain the same and for the staggering cash and prizes available go to the Springleap.com prizes page. Check it out here!!

So I’m sure you guys are really revved up and can’t wait for the new competition themes.

So WHY THE MAJOR CHANGE IN THE COMPETITION STRUCTURE?

After seeing general designs pouring in with no theme for the last year-and-a-half, We decided we wanted to shake things up a bit – throw in a bit of inspiration and direction.

Designers are often in their element when fulfilling a specific brief with some direction. Providing that spark will be our job to set your imagination on FIRE!!!

We will also still be having amazing other themed competitions for our clients (have you thought about using Springleap to fulfil your design briefs?) and in the future we will eventually relaunch the general entry competition with a bit of a change there as well.

Meanwhile we hope that you enjoy the design challenge that Springleap represents as we all grow together.
