hi, im doing my (Graphic design) B-Tech at the moment at D.U.T. My subject is plush toys which i plan to make, brand and market. the thing about these plush is that they are going to be 100% unique and only one plush will be made from each design. i would like to make them appeal to the adult market hence the need for market research in a form of a survey.

Yes it’s not original, and no I’m not a brilliant designer, but the signs of the times guys, the signs of the times - my friends would all buy one. They already told me so. So do I get to enter based on the popularity of my figure on the t-shirt or is it no go?

Ok,so we have all gone through all the designs and have been really impressed with the talent out there.

something that got my eye was the dsirt colours that some of the designers used.for me the colour of the shirt is vital.It can make the design a super hit or let it drag in behind the winners.
the colours black and white will always be firm favourites but you need to think carefully about the colouring you use in design and how you incorporate it in the shirt.the two have to go together.
saying this,the majority have got it right…I am sure there are peeps out there who will only get better as time goes on.

Now since I became a StumbleUpon insomniac, there are a lot of t-shirt websites solely focused on design, patents, collections, everything. So there’s a lot of stuff out there that’s probably been done, or sort of been done but could be done better.

What about designers completely thinking out the box and opting for thermals? It’s winter officially this month, and when last did you stroll into Woolies and sheepishly look over your shoulder as you opted for the White Thermal Three Pack, the most unexciting buy of the year? Can’t someone sjoosj up a thermal vest? Please! For the women who have to look at the wifebeaters, can this competition extend to different types of t-shirts/upper abdomen clothing too? Or is that not on?
