When I was looking at the Positive Heroes site, one of the things I notice was the smiles we could see on people´s faces. And, for me, that´s one of the greatest messages they can spread - that is possible to keep smiling and be happy, despite their disease.  This was the inspiration for this design. On the other hand, I feel that is important that this message reaches everyone, despite their age, education or social background, so I tried to keep my design simple, almost childish.

My first submission here on Springleap. Hope you like it.

Similar to the other design, I happen to create a plus sign inside of the Inspire Courage text conveying a message of living positively with HIV.

You know those feelings that makes you think your chest it’s about to blow ? That’s what this design is about.

Telkom Pinnacle was a competition which really got us super excited here at the Springleap HQ.

It was such an honour to work alongside Telkom, who are highly respected not only in South Africa, but the world over!

We were inundated with a ton of world class submissions and smiled ear-to-ear when we realised just how difficult it was going to be to choose a winner.
There was however one designer who impressed Telkom more than anybody else...Incynqron.

Incynqron set the competition alight with his stunning submissions and when all was said and done it was his Diamond Fire design which emerged victorious.

It is always a great pleasure to see a designer who is able to take a brief and ‘pull off’ a win using their particular style to the full.

We often get ‘chancers’ who create designs loosely based on the brief, which is painfully obvious to see.
This is why Incynqron’s targeted style, which suits the corporate vibe so perfectly, is always a welcome addition to our sponsored competitions.

Incynqron is one of our most prolific designers to date and always manages to pull the proverbial rabbit out of the hat to put pressure on the top designers.
This is his second BIG US$1250 victory of the year...now THAT is something seriously impressive to behold.

We have no doubt that this superb designer will be back soon enough to push for that elusive third win of 2011.
At this rate it looks like he very well might do it!

The Lexus ‘CT 200h’ competition was such a new and refreshing competition for all of us here at Springleap.com
Not only did we get to team up with one of the biggest giants of the automotive industry, but we also got to experience a new style of voting and interaction through Facebook.

We had so many breathtaking submissions, but in the end it was Qimstudio’s super slick .:The Pursuit:. design which caught the attention of Lexus judges.

CONGRATULATIONS QIMSTUDIO!!!!

The Facebook aspect of the competition was very fun to watch!
For those of you who don’t know, after the initial voting on Springleap.com, the TOP 10 designs were then hosted on the Lexus Facebook page.
Lexus and Springleap fans alike then had the opportunity to come together to vote for their overall grand prize winner.
This all led to one of the most fiercely contested voting sessions we have ever seen!

Qimstudio and Acelate were the top voted designs on the Lexus Facebook page. Their fans were all equally passionate about their designer taking the win. It looked as if these two designers were in the leader pack, with all the other designers forming a mega-close chasing posse.

While Acelate’s design was incredible and showed considerable fan support, it was the science fiction mega-clean look of Qimstudio’s .:The Pursuit:. which  roared ahead and took the chequered flag.

Well done to the designer who entered, especially to our TOP 10, which were all of a phenomenal standard. Hellojune, Incynqron, zenstudio and ThirstyFly were but a few of the top tier designers which had a huge chance of scooping the win.

This is Qimstudio’s second win on Springleap.com and it certainly was a big one at that.
